Springtime Frolick in the Woods

A few weeks ago at a staff meeting, the pastor asked what we were planning to do on the first spring-like day. My response was, get out into our woods and go for a walk. Well the first Spring-like day was yesterday and the whole family was eager to tromp through our woods. We even brought our pug friend, Mr. Pugsley. When we get a dog of our own we will have to get one a bit more sturdy for tromping through woods. Mr. Pugsley tuckered out and Justin had to carry him.

This adventure calls for the big boots.

We found a sit spot.

If we cut a few of the branches this will be an awesome outdoor sanctuary spot - for deep thinking.

We have a bit of trailblazing to do! But there is some amazing potential for some peaceful spots in the woods for that rejuvenating, healing that only solitude in nature can bring.
